Dead by Daylight now has Sadako as a killer

The next chapter for the 4v1 asymmetrical horror game Dead by Daylight is called Sadako Rising and is now live. Sadako from the Ringu (The Ring for some) franchise as the new killer as well as new survivor Yoichi Asakawa.
If you’re a fan of the Ringu/ The Ring horror movie series, you’ll be pleased to know that Sadako was incorporated well into the game as she’s a stealthy killer that can get the drop on survivors when used correctly. She can demanifest herself to conceal her location and teleport to any of the working TVs scattered all over the game map. Her ability doesn’t help her when on a chase, so it’s all about getting the drop on unsuspected survivors to get a hit on them. With enough use of the condemn effect, you might outright remove someone from the game as she has a mini-mori built in, similar to what the killer Pyramid head can do.
Together with the release of the the new chapter, Behaviour Interactive also released the Sadako Rising Collection in the in-game store, which is a series of new cosmetics for the new killer and survivor. The Rotten Remains outfit (1,485 Auric Cells) for Sadako presents the Killer in an advanced stage of decay while Survivor Yoichi gets a set Research Trip Outfit (1,080) that features him in sports shorts, a yellow beanie, and a windbreaker.
Sadako Rising will cost $6.99 to get both the new killer, survivor, and all the new perks that come with them.
