Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets perks for March 22 - March 28, 2023

This section found in the in-game store of Dead by Daylight gives players a chance to unlock perks from Survivors or Killers still unavailable for them, or have not yet earned the highest tier.

It being worth it depends on what you have available during that time so choose carefully as 2,000 shards are hard to earn, especially for new players from either side.

Killer Perks

Overwhelming Presence (The Doctor)

Survivors within your Terror Radius suffer from an item depletion rate increase of 80/90/100%.

Deathbound (The Executioner)

Whenever a Survivor heals another Survivor for the equivalent of 1 Health at least 32 meters away from you, this perk activates and causes the Survivor to scream and trigger a Loud noise notification.

For the next 60 seconds, the Survivor suffers from the Oblivious effect whenever they are farther than 16/12/8 meters from the healed Survivor.

Survivor Perks

Dead Hard (David King)

When you are injured, press your active ability button while running to trigger an Endurance effect that lasts for 0.5 seconds.

Using Dead Hard causes Exhausted for 60/50/40 seconds.

Pharmacy (Quentin Smith)

Whenever you are in the injured state, this perk activates.

You have increased speed in opening chests by 40/60/80%, reduced the hearing range of noises related to unlocking chests by -8 meters, and it guarantees you to earn an Emergency Med-Kit when opening a Chest.

Which perks are worth getting this week?

This week features the best perk in the game and that is Dead Hard for Survivor. As much as I hate to admit it, the changes still make this one of the best exhaustion perks in the game as 0.5 seconds of giving you endurance are enough time for a Survivor to perfectly extend a chase for additional seconds. It is available from a base survivor, but it’s worth pointing out that it’s best to have the make tier for this perk.

On the other hand, Pharmacy can find some uses, though it’s hard to suggest as I find opening chests something you must do but something you can do when things go dire. I would prefer bringing a decent Med-Kit in the start then use a perk slot more than anything else.

For Killer, Overwhelming Presence is fun to have only if you know you are dealing with a team with each Survivor having an item, especially if they are all Med-Kits. Very situational, but something to consider if you don’t have another perk that affects items.

Lastly, Deathbound can be useful information but I’d rather suggest information perks like Nurse’s Calling than this as I can react to information about someone healing other than someone that just healed.
