Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets Perks for October 26 - November 2 2022
/Dead by Daylight’s Shrine of Secrets is an in-game store that gives players the opportunity to unlock perks from Survivors or Killers still unavailable and the offers lasts for a whole week. This week offers the perks Corrupt Intervention, Thrilling Tremors, Boon: Circle of Healing, and Poised. A strong list that’s all worth recommending but here’s a quick rundown of each perk available from October 26, 2022 until November 2, 2022.
Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets perks for October 26 to November 2, 2022
To unlock a perk through the Shine of Secrets, you’ll need to spend Iridescent Shards per perk. Tier 1 perks can cost 2,000 shards but higher tiers can cost higher.
A decent offering this week but killers will have to pick one perk in this list as it’s used quite often in most builds.
Killer Perks
Corrupt Intervention - 3 generators located furthest from you are blocked by the entity for 80/100/120 seconds at the start of the trial. Survivors cannot repair these generators for the duration. Affected generators are highlighted by a white aura.
Thrilling Tremors - After picking up a Survivor, all Generators not being repaired by Survivors are blocked by The Entity and cannot be repaired for the next 16 seconds. Affected generators are highlighted by a white aura. The perk can only be triggered once ever 100/80/60 seconds.
Survivor Perks
Boon: Circle of Healing - Any Survivor within the Boon Totem’s range gain a 40/45/50% healing speed bonus and can heal themselves without needed a Med-Kit. Self-healing is done at 50% normal speed.
Poised - After a Generator is completed, you leave no scratch marks for 6/8/10 seconds.
Which perks are worth getting this week?
This week’s list of perks offered through the Shrine of Secrets feels more beneficial for the killer side as the perks on offer for them provide information.
Corrupt Intervention is considered one of the strongest perks in the game as it blocks generators from being repaired at the start of the game, slowing the game as Survivors near generators affected by the perk are forced to relocate. This gives killer ample time to have a good idea of where they are based on the perk as well as they can focus on the generators not affected by the perk. A must unless you’re planning to play The Plague anytime soon.
We then have Thrilling Tremors for the killers, another fun perk that gives you a good idea where to go once you pick up a downed survivor. Sure, it only highlights gens that are not being worked on, but that’s enough information to work with as you can avoid going to those and divert your attention to the gens not highlighted. Another strong perk worth considering.
For Survivors, Boon: Circle of Healing is still a viable option as it’s hard to appreciate creating a space where Survivors can heal for free. It’s been nerfed heavily but still has its uses and is worth the shards. Poised, on the other hand is the weakest offer this week. Sure, no scratch marks is useful but situational at best as it would be suggested to use the perk slot for something that brings value more consistently.
Dead by Daylight’s Shrine of Secrets reset every Wednesday at 12 AM UTC / 8 AM GMT +8.
Dead by Daylight’s Halloween event is currently underway and is the best time to play as there’s tons of Bloodpoints to earn as well as a new Tome to progress through to earn rewards.
