Dead Space Remake will feature an alternate ending
/We are just days away from the release of developer Motive’s remake of the first Dead Space game and it seems like the game will not only feature a modernized version of the 2008 classic sci-fi horror game, but it will also feature an alternate ending.
According to the game’s PlayStation Trophy list – which was revealed by Exophase, a website that tracks PlayStation trophies – there’s a trophy called ‘Reunion’, which unlocks if a player triggers the game’s alternative ending.
What is this alternative ending? No one knows as of this moment as the original game didn’t have multiple endings, but as a fan of the original trilogy, it’s pretty exciting to see that there’s new content added to the game.
But fans are likely to get a treat from the remake as there are some quality of life gameplay changes done to modernize the game for 2023. For instance in the original game, protagonist Isaac Clark was a silent protagonist. For the remake, the original voice actor for the Dead Space 2 and 3 is reprising his role to provide a fully voiced Isaac for the whole playthrough.
The zero gravity segments in the original will also be different as the remake will feature a similar zero gravity movement seen in the Dead Space 2, so expect slight changes to the stage layout during those parts of the main campaign.
For those aiming to do everything in the Dead Space remake, you can find the full PlayStation 5 trophy list below.

Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
