SEGA has officially announced that Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 will launch on August 1, 2025, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam.
Alongside the release date announcement. A new trailer was released for the game. The second official trailer showcases the game's Story Mode, which follows the key events of the Entertainment District Arc.

There will be a variety of editions with their own set of bonuses. A physical version will be available, but only as a Standard Edition. Digital versions, however, come with additional bonuses. The steam version of Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 will launch later compared to the console version. However, players who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition on Steam can access the game early on August 1.

Digital pre-orders for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 are now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Those who pre-order the game will receive early unlock tokens for the characters Muichiro Tokito, Mitsuri Kanroji.
Originally released on October 14, 2021, Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles is an arena fighter developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Aniplex (Japan) and SEGA. The game received multiple free updates, introducing additional playable characters and the Entertainment District DLC pack, which was released in five installments.
Despite its aging personality, Two Point Museum is the strongest entry in the series yet. The improved gameplay flow, deeper simulation mechanics, and museum theme provide just the right level of creative freedom and challenge.
