Destiny 2 Season of the Deep Weekly Reset - What is Happening in Week 4 (June 14 - June 20)
/Season of the Deep continues for Destiny 2 as Week 4 of season 21, again, slightly moves forward in the overall seasonal story as Sloane and Ahsa’s connection was further deepened by our recent dive missions. But this week is a bit spicier than a few weeks ago as Grandmaster Nightfalls are finally back!
Destiny 2 - Season of the Deep Week 4 (June 14 - June 20)
Season of the Deep story continues
Nothing too special about this one as we are again tasked to help deepen the connection between Sloane and Ahsa. You’ll first need to go to Savathun’s Throne Room to kill Scorn and retrieve an item, then be tasked to complete a Deep Dive mission. Once done, a few conversations take place and towards the end, we get a more vague dialogue about The FInal Shape and the big bad The Witness.
With Week 4 now live, we are halfway through the seasonal story as there are two more weeks of story content planned according to this season’s Triumph.
Gambit Rank points doubled this week
This would be the best time to play Gambit as rank points are double this week, so all your efforts to complete Gambit weekly challenges and get that perfect Trust roll.
Roots of Nightmares Challenge - All Hands
The Root of Nightmares raid challenge this week is All Hands and takes place at the final encounter. This one is a bit tricky as the challenge requires you to activate a light node and a dark node in each DPS phase. To make matters harder, the fireteam will need to shoot the last light and dark nodes in just a few seconds between each other.
Complete this week’s challenge and you get an extra loot chest and the Adept weapon this week, which is the Void shotgun Nessa’s Oblation.
Bright Dust store offering this week - Vexcalibur ornament
This week’s Bright Dust offering is for the Glaive users out there, especially ones that like to use the exotic Glaive the Vexcalibur, a new weapon with its own exotic quest that was just recently introduced weeks after the Lightfall expansion went live.
Grandmaster Nightfalls is live!
Grandmaster Nightfall is live and the featured strike this week is The Lightblade strike from the Witch Queen expansion. This is arguably one of the tougher Grandmaster Nightfall activities, so be sure to bring your A-game and be part of a coordinated Fireteam.
The Adept weapon featured this week is the Wendigo GL3 (Adept).
And for Destiny 2 veterans hoping to get your Conqueror Triumph gilded this season, you’ll have to complete these six strikes in their Grandmaster Nightfall versions.
The Devil’s Lair
The Disgraced
Fallen S.A.B.E.R.
The Corrupted
The Lightblade
PsiOps Battleground: Moon
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
