The long-awaited Dune: Awakening finally has a release date! Funcom has announced that the open-world survival MMO set in the Dune universe will launch on May 20, 2025. With pre-orders opening soon, players can prepare for the vast desert of Arrakis by diving into the Character Creator & Benchmark Mode, available now on Steam.

Dune: Awakening will be available at a base price of $49.99/€49.99. Players who pre-order will receive an exclusive in-game item: the Terrarium of Muad’Dib, featuring a detailed desert mouse as it scurries through its miniature world. A small but fitting nod to the survival themes of Dune.
Character Creator & Benchmark Mode – Available Now
Players can begin shaping their journey right now with the full Character Creator & Benchmark Mode. By downloading it on Steam, you can fully customize your character before launch and receive a redeemable code for an exclusive Frameblade knife skin.
