ESGS 2022 Is Happening This October in the Philippines as an In-person Event

Gariath Concepts, the company responsible for events like Pinoy Gaming Festival, have announced that ESGS 2022 is happening this October as an in-person event in SMX Convention Center in the Philippines.
Through social media, the esports and gaming convention revealed that the event will run from October 28 to October 30, 2022 and that’s pretty much it for now.
No detail so far on what to expect but if it’s anything like previous ESGS events, you can expect a good mix of gaming and esports competitions. This annual gaming convention in the Philippines is known for its variety as not only do local fans get to see competitive esports matches live but event goers get to try out upcoming games from big publishers abroad. Brands such as Capcom, Bandai Namco, PlayStation, Nintendo, Ubisoft and more have made an appearance in the past and had booths to feature their upcoming titles.
Another notable and known section in ESGS is the local indie scene that features various indie titles from various studios in the Philippines. This is the event that introduced us to Secret 6’s online shooter Project Xandata which is now in Open Beta as a free-to-play title on Steam under its Early Access program. We even saw the evolution of the now released Lithium City, by one-man developer Nico Tuason.
ESGS, or known by some as Esports and Gaming Summit, is considered the biggest gaming convention in the Philippines. Will Gariath Concepts deliver a similar experience this year? We’ll see in the near future when more information is released.
