As one of the biggest gaming events in the Philippines, ESGS 2022 is set to make a major comeback as it partners with Globe and Riot games to deliver a three-day event filled with various gaming activities. This year’s ESGS will again be held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City from October 28 to 30.

Globe and Riot Games at ESGS 2022

Due to the ESGS going online the last two years, comeback is the word that describes this year’s ESGS and is going big as it partners with Globe and Riot Games.

Globe is a main presenter this year with various “activities in our booth and throughout the entire ESGS event area that promotes multiple products, experiences, and most of all, opportunities to do good.” said Rina Azcuña-Siongco, Head of Globe’s Get Entertained Tribe. “May it be from the different items you can win and redeem on Globe Gamer Grounds, to meet and greets with your favorite Globe gaming ambassadors, to feeding the hungry via the Hapag Movement and learning about climate change via the Globe Climate Champions mobile game, you can do good with gaming with Globe,” she adds.

Together with ESGS Globe Gamer Grounds will also be co-presenting Astra Arena as the event’s very own esports stage.

We then have Riot Games coming to the Philippines for the first time, putting a spotlight on just some of their biggest games – League of Legends, Valorant, League of Legends: Wild Rift at ESGS 2022.

One of the activities set up by Riot Games will be a Cosplay Competition with a prize pool of PHP 50,000 plus some gaming chairs. Cosplayers are tasked to enter the competition as a character from either Valorant or the Runeterra world (League of Legends).

So far, ESGS organizer Gariath Concepts have announced a ton of brands having a presence in the event floor during all three days.
