Free-To-Play Battle Royale Game My Hero Ultra Rumble Announced
/Bandai Namco Entertainment announced a free-to-play battle royale game called My Hero Ultra Rumble, based on the popular anime/manga series My Hero Academia. It’s being developed by Bykin (My Hero One’s Justice series) and is set to release the online game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (via Steam).
In My Hero Ultra Rumble, players will join one of eight three-player teams as Heroes or Villains as they battle on expansive citywide maps. By controlling classic My Hero characters, fans can make the most of their Quirks to attack enemies and cooperate with their team to survive fights. Players can also contribute to their team’s victory by rescuing or intimidating civilians on the field to obtain powerful items that can determine the outcome of the battle.
Each match will contain a total of 24 players.
There’s no exact release date announced but they are aiming for a Fall 2023 release.
Screenshots can be found below as there’s no gameplay of the free-to-play title in action just yet.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
