Lies of P Is Set to Release This September, Playable Demo is Now Available
/During the 2023 Summer Game Fest, Neowiz Games revealed a new trailer that not only announces the game’s latest release date but also revealed that a new playable demo is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
The Souls-like action RPG is set to release on September 19 and those itching to try out how the game plays can do so right now as the demo features the first two chapters of the game, a decent amount of space to explore, and a boss encounter. As demos go, the start of the game perfectly displays all of the game’s key points from combat to atmosphere, giving the player a clear understanding of whether the game is the right fit for them.
If sold by what you saw in the demo (Or trailer), pre-orders are now up for Lies of P, and early buyers will earn the Mischievous Puppet’s Set outfit. Pay extra for the Deluxe Edition and you also get the Great Venigni’s Set outfit, a unique mask, and access to the full game three days earlier.
Lies of P is inspired by the story of Pinocchio and is set in a fictional city called Krat, which sadly is filled with monstrous machine puppets that now roam the streets. You play as a puppet named P who goes through a dark journey in search of Geppetto in the hopes of turning human. This is a Souls-like game, so expect a certain level of difficulty.
This will be music to the ears of kids who grew up on the series, but for the uninitiated, there’s nothing quite like the Mario & Luigi games. Mario & Luigi Brothership does its best to appeal to a wide range of players with charming presentation and a strong new Battle Plug system, but not everyone will be enamored with its reflex-testing gameplay.
