Like a Dragon: Gaiden Will Not Have English Dub at Launch
/The upcoming action game Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will launch this November without an English dub as the studio plans to add it in a post-release patch.
Voice actor and Youtuber YongYea, who provides the english voice of Kazuma Kiryu for both Gaiden and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, pointed out that Gaiden will not be available on the game’s launch, November 8, as there’s no release date announced for the English dub.
But don’t worry as the game will feature Japanese voice with English subtitles.
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name brings Kazuma Kiryu back into the spotlight as we not only get a good idea of what Kiryu was up to after Yakuza 6: Song of Life, but the story will be filing the gaps in the story in preparation for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, the next mainline entry that is retaining the turn-based RPG combat introduced in the last mainline title, Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
Those who get a copy of Gaiden will also get access to a playable demo of Infinite Wealth.
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name launches on November 8, 2023, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The action game will also be available on Xbox and PC Game Pass on day one.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
