Port of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth for PS5 and PS4 Delayed to December 2022

Square Enix announced that Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth will no longer launch on September 29 for PS5 and PS4 consoles. It will now launch on December 22, 2022 as the team working on the title would need more development time to improve the port’s quality.
Here’s Square Enix’s message regarding the delay of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth from a press release sent out.
“We would like to inform you that “VALKYRIE PROFILE: LENNETH“, developed with the cooperation of Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. was scheduled to be released on September 29, 2022. However, we would like to take additional development time to improve the quality of the title, and the release date has been changed. We sincerely apologize to our customers who have been looking forward to the release of this product. ”
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth is the 2006 enhanced PSP port of the first Valkyrie Profile. Lenneth hit mobile devices in 2018 and now the same version is hitting PS5 and PS4 consoles. It was originally planned to release the same day the new game in the series,Valkyrie Elysium, launches, but that’s no longer the case.
