Ragnarok X: Next Generation's That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime event now live

Developer Nuverse announced that Ragnarok X: Next Generation’s in-game event collaborating with anime That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is now live. The limited event adds new quests, outfits, MVPs, mini-bosses and more. The event went live on September 10 and will run until October 10.
Two new MVP bosses will be available during the event - Storm Dragon and mini boss Orc Disaster, giving players a shot at earning these boss’s cards as well as event coins, which are used to earn other rewards.
The month-long event will also feature the ‘Slime Fantasy World’ event where players get to participate in a Monopoly-like board game equipped with cosmetic rewards such as headgear and costumes which are themed around characters in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime. Players can also earn an item called ‘dice’ which allows them to participate in daily quests and events. This board game will also feature one of three mini games each time you play.
The event collaboration surprisingly makes sense as everyone is familiar with the first enemy all players attack when they start their run in the game - the expressive pouring. I’m actually caught up with the anime That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and I did find myself thinking that the main character’s slime form reminded me of Ragnarok’s pouring, so it’s definitely a fitting collaboration between the two.
Ragnarok X: Next Generation is an MMORPG that brings the 2002 original Ragnarok into a new light. Everything that made this game beloved by many is retained in this new version, all the way to the nine classes and it’s advanced versions of each one. Ragnarok X is fairly new as it only officially launched in the Philippines back in June but has found a solid footing in the crowded mobile space in Southeast Asia as it sits as one of the top 100 free app games downloaded in the Google Play Store.
