/Bethesda has given us a closer look at Shattered Space the upcoming expansion for their open world RPG Starfield, which is set to release this month, September 30.

The biggest takeaway from this deep dive is that the expansion is self-contained and focused on a single planet, a unique approach for post-launch content as Starfield was all about exploring the universe. It’s not only set on a single planet but focuses on the House Va’ruun faction as you unearth the mysteries that surround the group’s capital city in horror-themed content.
Here’s a quick description of the setting for the Shattered Space expansion.
You arrive on Va’ruun’kai to find the capital city in chaos. A massive vortex had recently devastated Dazra, swallowing huge chunks of the city. Residents are searching for missing loved ones and attempting to put their lives back together, and they don’t seem entirely pleased by your arrival.
But what is this vortex? What happened to the people that disappeared into it? Who will lead the people now? Throughout your journey in Shattered Space, you’ll uncover the truth behind what caused the vortex to appear and in doing so, decide the fate of House Va’ruun.
Shattered Space is the first of many expansions planned for the RPG. It will cost you PHP 1,799 via Steam (PHP 1,500 via Xbox store) but those who own the Premium or Constellation editions of the game already own the DLC as it’s part of the package.
Since the game’s release last year, Bethesda Game Studios has updated the game with Creation Club support, which essentially allows players to install and provide mod content for the Starfield community, similar to previous Bethesda games like Fallout, and The Elder Scrolls. The game was also updated with new quality-of-life improvements such as a more detailed local map, and the game’s first land-based vehicle to make on-foot travel less painful.
This will be music to the ears of kids who grew up on the series, but for the uninitiated, there’s nothing quite like the Mario & Luigi games. Mario & Luigi Brothership does its best to appeal to a wide range of players with charming presentation and a strong new Battle Plug system, but not everyone will be enamored with its reflex-testing gameplay.
