Street Fighter 6 Will Have an Open Beta From May 19-21
/Capcom announced that there will be an open beta for Street Fighter 6 as it will contain the same content found during the Closed Beta #2 session, which is access to eight characters, online play, Battle Hub, and crossplay.
The Open beta will be available to all players in PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam) from May 19 at 12 AM PDT until May 21 at 12 AM PDT and will feature Luke, Jamie, Chun-Li, Juri, Kimberly, Guile, Ryu, and Ken.
Players can participate in online Ranked Matches, Casual Match, Battle Hub matches, Open Tournament, Extreme Battle mode, and the Game Center Training Mode. The Open Beta will also feature six stages – Metro City Downtown, Genbu Temple, Carrier Byron Taylor, Tian Hong Yuan, The Macho Ring, and Training Room.
Street Fighter 6 demo still available
In case you are curious about the game’s single Player content called World Tour, you can try the game’s free demo which is available right now to all players as it features the first few moments of the game mode. In this single-player mode, players create their own customizable fighter and go around Metro City to improve themselves as a fighter and learn from the many mentors found in the game (the game’s base roster).
This is likely the last beta for Street Fighter 6 as the game is set to release on June 2, 2023, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The fighting game will release with the series' biggest launch roster for the series as there will be 18 characters available on release.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
