THQ Nordic Showcase Ends the Show With a Tease to a New South Park Game

The THQ Nordic Digital Showcase concluded and it ended with a short tease suggesting a new South Park game is currently in development. It’s a short tease with a familiar audio from a known scene from the show.

The tease starts with the show announcing that there are still 26 unannounced games left to be revealed by the publisher. The number 26 was quickly erased and corrected to say 25 are still to be announced. It then transitions to the South Park Digital Studios logo, suggesting a new South Park is on the way.

What type of game will it be? No one knows at this moment as no other information was provided after the tease. It is safe to assume that it provides a different experience compared to what Ubisoft did with the franchise as both South Park: The Stick of Truth and South Park: The Fractured But Whole delivered a turn-based RPG experience wrapped around the South Park humor and tone.

If you’re interested in checking out more announced titles and reveals during the THQ Nordic Showcase, watch the show as it’s just less than an hour long. One of the announcements was a reboot of the Alone in the Dark series
