Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.1 launches on August 14, Adds New Characters, Story, and More
/HoYoverse announced that on August 14, Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.1, titled "Undercover R&B," will launch, introducing a wealth of new content and features. The update delves into the intricate stories of New Eridu Public Security (N.E.P.S.) and their struggle against the Mountain Lion Gang, focusing on characters Qingyi, Jane, and Seth.
New Characters and Storyline
The update highlights the conflict between N.E.P.S. members Zhu Yuan, Qingyi, and Seth and the elusive Mountain Lion Gang, led by the enigmatic Jane. Players can explore New Eridu, take on commissions as Jane, and uncover her complex past with N.E.P.S.
Qingyi is one of the new S-Rank characters. She is an electric Stun character and will be available in the game once version 1.1 goes live. It seems like her role in a team would be her ability to easily stun enemies and inflict electric damage.
The update will also add Seth, an A-Rank Electric Defense character, who provides team buffs with his shield and wields a large sword for offensive maneuvers. Additionally, a new S-Rank Bangboo, "Officer Cui," will assist in the Hollows.
New Gameplay: "Inferno Reap"
The new "Inferno Reap" gameplay mode allows players to engage in time-limited battles with Nineveh. After completing the "Withering Garden" stage, players can repeatedly attempt the challenge to earn various in-game rewards.
Themed Event: "Camellia Golden Week"
Version 1.1 also introduces the "Camellia Golden Week" event, offering Polychromes, A-level W-engine, and various materials as rewards for completing event commissions. Additional features include the Immersive Tactical Drill, First-Class Customer Service, and an upgraded camera function with new filters and selfie options, providing players with fresh ways to enjoy the game.
Zoneless Zone Zero went live as a free-to-play game on July 4 on PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile phones as Version 1.1 is the game’s first major update since the game launched.
