PS3 exclusive Far Cry 3 DLC out next week, adds two co-op chapters

Far-Cry-3-high-tidesThe first DLC for Far Cry 3 will be releasing exclusively on Playstation 3 next week. If you enjoyed the game's co-op, then you'd get a kick out of this free exclusive DLC because this adds two more chapters to that mode.

The two added chapters, called Jailbreak and Redepmtion, and continues were the original six chapters left off.

"We've got new missions, tougher fights, bigger competitions, some great up-close time with your favourite characters, and explosive moments unlike anything you've seen before."

High Tides will be out on January 15. The DLC will be included on the Playstation Store during its regular content update that usually happens around Tuesday.

No word yet if High Tides will hit Xbox 360 or PC. This isn't the first time Ubisoft has given Sony exclusive content for their games. For Assassin's Creed 3, the PS3 version was given an hour worth of exclusive content for PS3 owners.
