PVP aspect of Diablo 3 didn't make the cut in the end
/Yes, let the rage come out. But it's actually a good thing for the millions of fans waiting for this game's release. Blizzard devs have announced they will be taking out the Player vs Player aspect of Diablo 3 since it wasn't living up to the developer's expectations.
we ultimately felt that delaying the whole game purely for PvP would just be punishing to everyone who’s waiting to enjoy the campaign and core solo/co-op content, all of which is just about complete.
Just about complete? Well that's good news if you ask me. The campaign and co-op campaign is nearly done and with the PVP system holding it back, it's a good decision to give fans some hope that we get to see Diablo 3 sometime this year.
It's too bad we won't have PVP on day one, but the developer's plan to include the PVP arena when it's all ready and balanced via patch. it's a win-win since they get Diablo 3 to move forward and have content that fans can look forward to after the game's release.
At this point, I just want the game in my hands. Enough said.
Diablo 3 was never really about the PVP aspect of the game and was literally just a cool thing to do when your bored. So if that was really the road block for the delays, then thank god they decided to leave it behind for now.
Diablo 3 will be release on [Blizzard please insert date here NOW] for PC.
