Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus officially announced by Insomniac Games
/Insomniac Games has finally revealed a new Ratchet and Clank game that's coming later this year for the PlayStation 3. Do we want another Ratchet & Clank game? Not too sure, but them going back to the game's original formula plus a reduced prices doesn't sound too bad.
With a new Ratchet & Clank game, comes new weapons and abilities. Weapons and gadgets include the Winterizer, Nightmare Box, Repulsor, Vortex Grenade, Grav Tether, Fusion Grenade and Nether Blades. Clank will get new abilities allowing him to alter gravity and manipulate objects to help solve puzzles in the game.
An announcement trailer was also released together with the reveal. Check the trailer below, because I'm not sure if it's just me but I think I saw some Portal 2 gameplay concepts in there.

But I think the best part of this reveal is that the new platformer will start at a generous price of $30, IGN reports. Kind of makes sense since I have a feeling this will land during the holidays, which means it will be in the middle of the next-gen console war.
