Persona 4 Arena Getting A Sequel / Update

p4a update 11 It looks like Persona 4 Arena is getting either a sequel or an update. Sporting a new UI, a new HUD and (at least for now) 2 new characters.

The new characters the have been revealed are Junpei and Yukari from Persona 3. Arc System Works began a location test for the game at two locations in Japan from August 16 to 18. Every character is also said to have Shadow of versions now and that Shadow characters will not have burst.

I'm getting a little too excited about this seeing as P4A is one of my favorite fighting games of this generation of consoles. Hearing about this is quite surprising, especially with the new BlazBlue coming out soon and the next Guilty Gear being in the works. Definitely will be trying out my girl Yukari-chan if and hopefully when I get my hands on this

Grand Theft Auto V's online mode looks sweet, but won't be available on launch day

1886b5048d02d0def387241bd3416537Rockstar has released a new trailer for the online mode in Grand Theft Auto V called Grand Theft Auto Online. A hub which seems to be similar to Red Dead Redemption - 16 players roaming around the city of Los Santos GTA style, and pretty much whatever the hell they want. Excited? Cool, but the online component won't be available on release day.

Grand Theft Auto online will be available on October 1 as a free download to all players with a copy of GTA V. No real reason why it won't be available on launch day but hey, Michael, Franklin, and Trevor escapades will be enough to keep us busing until release.

Grand Theft Auto Online trailer Before the release of the trailer, I was curious to why they bothered calling it Grand Theft Auto Online, instead of saying GTA V multiplayer. Now it makes sense, since Rockstar plans to constantly update the game just like any other online game.

Grand Theft Auto V will be available on September 17 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360.

If you haven't yet, don't forget to register in our first ever giveaway. One lucky viewer will get a copy of GTA V and it's on us. Check out the details here.

Grand Theft Auto Online reveal coming on August 15

GTAONLINE_THURS-AUG-15_640x640Rockstar has just announced that a gameplay video and previews of Grand Theft Auto Online will be revealed on August 15. Don't get fooled by the title. It's not a separate game, it's just Grand Theft Auto V's multiplayer component, so stay tuned!

For us gamers in the Philippines, it should be released sometime in August 16, but we'll catch it as soon as it comes available.

My god, it will soon be less than a month away from release? Grand Theft Auto will be out on September 17 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Latest Splinter Cell Blacklist trailer tells us everything we need to know about the game

splinter_cell_blacklist_ss01-e1376217924564.jpg

splinter_cell_blacklist_ss01 The latest trailer for Splinter Cell Blacklist gives us the 101 on what to expect from Sam Fisher's latest mission. It's 7-minutes long, and if you know nothing about Blacklist, this will get you up to speed and ready for when it comes out this August. Check it out below.

As expected from Ubisoft, Blacklist will be providing a complete package. The "Spies vs Mercs" mode makes a return but is still questionable. Sneaking around with a friend in co-op though is definitely the mode I'm looking forward to. Conviction had a great coop, but wasn't enough to make it a good game overall, making me wary of getting this on day one. Blacklist comes out on August 22 and I have this strong feeling this game won't get the best reception.

Splinter Cell Blacklist will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC.

The Wonderful 101 7-minute extended trailer introduces the characters and story

TheWonderful101-ss01 Nintendo released a lengthy trailer for The Wonderful 101, an exclusive title for the Wii U that let's you control a crowd of super heroes fending off an alien invasion. The trailer introduces the characters in the game, the unite morphs, as well as revealing a good chunk of the story to get us all started when it releases this September. Check out the trailer below.

This has to be the first time in a long time that I get this urge to consider the Wii U. It's way over the top! And that's a good thing. Gameplay though seems unique in a way that it's really hard to distinguish what kind of game this is from afar. This could go both ways for Platinum Games, so extended trailers like this makes a lot of sense, because they need to throw as much information at gamers that own a Wii U to consider a game like this.

The Wonderful 101 is going to have a hard time when it gets released. A true underdog being a completely new IP, as well as being an exclusive title to a new console struggling in terms of sales. And to make matters worse, Grand Theft Auto V is out in September. Why Nintendo decided to pin their new title against a highly anticipated game is beyond me.

The Wonderful 101 will be out on September 15 exclusively for the Wii U.
