Diablo III dated for May 15... FINALLY

Diablo 3 And I thought the day we get to put the release date of Diablo 3 in our calenders would never come, Blizzard FINALLY gives us a release date for this highly anticipated sequel to the loot fest that is Diablo 3. May 15 is the release date and digital pre-purchases are now available.

Thanks to Destructoid, they report that Diablo 3 will be available at retailers  in the United States, Canada, Europe, South Korea, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and the regions of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. It'll also be available to Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil, but digitally only via Battle.net.

With the cancellation of the PVP arena feature of Diablo 3, it was obviously the road block that kept devs from releasing the game.  Apparently the PVP wasn't coming out nicely so they crapped it for now and plans to release the PVP feature via patch when they got it all balanced out and ready.

Evil is back and thanks to this announcement, I now know what game I'm going for on May. I'm sure the whole world is begging for time to move faster to get their hands on this game. The wait is almost over!

PVP aspect of Diablo 3 didn't make the cut in the end

Diablo 3 Yes, let the rage come out. But it's actually a good thing for the millions of fans waiting for this game's release. Blizzard devs have announced they will be taking out the Player vs Player aspect of Diablo 3 since it wasn't living up to the developer's expectations.

we ultimately felt that delaying the whole game purely for PvP would just be punishing to everyone who’s waiting to enjoy the campaign and core solo/co-op content, all of which is just about complete.

Just about complete? Well that's good news if you ask me. The campaign and co-op campaign is nearly done and with the PVP system holding it back, it's a good decision to give fans some hope that we get to see Diablo 3 sometime this year.

It's too bad we won't have PVP on day one, but the developer's plan to include the PVP arena when it's all ready and balanced via patch. it's a win-win since they get Diablo 3 to move forward and have content that fans can look forward to after the game's release.

At this point, I just want the game in my hands. Enough said.

Diablo 3 was never really about the PVP aspect of the game and was literally just a cool thing to do when your bored. So if that was really the road block for the delays, then thank god they decided to leave it behind for now.

Diablo 3 will be release on [Blizzard please insert date here NOW] for PC.
