Far Cry 3 Dr. Earnhardt Trailer

Farcry 3Ubisoft just released a new trailer introducing yet another crazy character in Farcry 3. Not much of a Farcry fan, couldn't even get myself to finish the second game, but from the looks of these trailers, I might consider it when it comes out on Sept.

It's looking damn good. The characters in the game seem to be one of Ubisoft's focus in Far Cry 3 - The crazy Antagonist named Vaas, now Dr. Earnhardt?  hoping to see more footage of Far Cry 3 in the next few months.

Far Cry 3  will be out on Sept. 4 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Darksiders II CGI trailer part 1

THQ just released a new CGI trailer for Darksiders II. The video series is called "Death Strikes. This is part 1 of the CGI video, other parts of the series be released in the future.  IGN got the exclusive and it's pretty much Death kicking ass until something huge appears.

Haven't bothered with the first Darksiders but from the looks of how the sequel is shaping up, I better get a copy soon. It's out on June 26 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC.

Kingdoms of Amalur The Legend of Dead Kel DLC Trailer

Legend of Dead KelKingdoms of Alamur: Reckoning is around two months old and already they are releasing some meaty DLC. When I say meaty, a DLC that's actual Downloadable content. Not the skin or weapon DLC's we see too damn often nowadays. Check out the trailer for the DLC "The Legend of Dead Kel".

The Downloadable content seems to pit the fateless one against pirates, well dead ones. The content will include new weapons, new Twists of Fate, enemies, and a new area filled with quests.

The Legend of Dead Kel will be available for download on March 20 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. If the price is decent, I might consider buying the DLC to have extra stuff to do in Kingdoms of Alamur.

Skyrim 1.5 update brings killcams for ranged and magic

Elder Scrolls SkyrimThe 1.5 update for Skyrim will be adding something interesting. Instead of the usual bug fixes that comes with updates, this one in particular adds new features to the game. When the update goes live, you will have kill cams for your bows, magic, and more melee kill moves.

The update is now live in Steam for beta testing and will be live soon for all platforms. I've set aside Skyrim for now, but with the strong support from the game's community and the devs themselves, the games slowly evolving making me consider to go for another playthrough. Check out the sneak peek of the update.

Check out Bethesda's blog for the release notes of update 1.5. If you have Skyrim on the PC, you can test the 1.5 update in the beta right now, just follow the instructions after the release notes.

Star Wars: The Old Republic weekend pass starts now

Star Wars The Old Republic Bioware is giving curious gamers a treat this weekend. From Thursday, March 15th, 12:01AM CT / 5:01AM GMT to Monday, March 19th at 2:00AM CT / 7:00AM GMT, you get a free pass to Star Wars of The Old Republic.

It's not a full access to the game, but it sure gives enough meat to see if it's a game worth investing in. You get full access to all eight of the classes origin worlds and their faction worlds. You can also try out the pvp aspect of the game by joining the warzones provided. If your curious of pve play,  you will have access to two flashpoints(The dungeons in the game), The Esseles and The Black Talon. Sadly, your weekend can only make you reach up to level 15.

If you have anymore questions about this free weekend pass, check out the FAQ for more information and any restrictions. You can also head to the official site for more information about the game and the Weekend Pass.

I've tried the game in one of its beta testing weekends for a day, so wasn't able to experience much. Going to give it another shot this weekend to see how the game feels after it's release.  The weekend trial has started and the client is around 26GB so I suggest you start downloading.

Star Wars: The Old Republic was released last December and received a good reception to critics and has a steady population so far.
