Destiny 2 on PC Available for Pre-Load Soon
/If you're a Destiny fan with a less than awesome Internet connection you have to share with other people, then you'll be glad to know that Destiny 2 can be pre-loaded starting Wednesday October 18.
For Filipinos, that's likely to be around early morning Thursday. That gives you around six days to download the game before the servers go live, which is specifically set for 12 pm Central time on October 24.
Destiny 2 on PC should be functionally identical to its console counterpart, but it will have some distinct advantages such as uncapped frame rates, support for 4K and of course the ability to play with mouse and keyboard, if that's your preference.
On PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Destiny 2 has found success. It was the number one game on the PlayStation store for the month of September and its expansion pass was the number one selling add-on too.
In our official review for Destiny 2, I had this to say: "Bungie’s greatest triumph in Destiny 2 is that it has transformed the polarizing, alienating experience of the first Destiny into an infinitely more rewarding one. There's still a lot of room to grow from here, but Destiny 2’s future looks filled with light."
Destiny 2 will be carried exclusively on the Battle.net store. Destiny 2 developer Bungie has also seen fit to issue a trailer hyping up the PC release. Go take a look while you schedule your download.
