Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands Is Free To Check Out This Weekend

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is free to check out right now. Until the 15th of October, PS4, Xbox One, and PC owners can download and try out the open-world tactical shooter over the weekend.

This is not a trial version of the game too. Players have access to the full game and all progress will be carried over if you choose to pay, which is said to become half-off after the free period ends. 

Here are the start and end times for the free play period:

  • Xbox One - Starts October 12 at 12 AM PT. Ends October 15 at 11:59 PM PT.
  • PlayStation 4 - Starts October 12 at 12 AM PT. Ends October 15 at 11:59 PM PT.
  • PC - Starts October 12 at 10 AM PT. Ends October 15 at 1 PM PT.

Not only is this a way for Ubisoft to entice more players to play the tactical shooter, they are also promoting that Wildlands now has a PVP mode. It launched on October 10, 2017, and It's free content for all players. It comes with eight maps and 12 classes at launch. Ubisoft has said it will have "Regular updates and new content" post-launch. Season pass owners will have a head start of the new content coming to this 4v4 mode. Check out the trailer above.
