Far Cry 5 Will Take Place In Montana

Ubisoft released a short trailer revealing that Far Cry 5 is coming. A worldwide announcement trailer on the next entry in the Far Cry franchise will go live on May 26. 

What's shown is a 30-second teaser confirming Far Cry 5's setting - Hope County, Montana. It shows how beautiful the area is while subtly showing that it won't be a peaceful place to visit. If you noticed how the church bell was being used, good on you for noticing. 

An interesting and bold setting for Far Cry 5. We'll see what Ubisoft has in store when they reveal more in a couple of days.
