Soulcalibur VI Trailer Announces Newcomer Grøh And Three Known Characters

Bandai Namco Asia released a new Soulcalibur VI trailer today announcing four characters: Xoanghua, Kilik, Nightmare, and newcomer Grøh. Grøh wields a weapon that can break into two swords. Here's the description of Grøh from Bandai Namco:

Grøh's dedication to his studies and training earned him a place as one of Aval's Twelve. However, after his failure to deal with the Azure Knight, he lost his position within the organization. The infighting in Aval has delayed his punishment for now, and if Grøh hopes to protect his right to wield Arondight, he needs to once again prove just how strong he is.

The other three are known character in the Soulcalibur series with no drastic change in design if you minus what happens to Kilik at the end of the trailer above. That part at the end leaves us puzzled. It could be some sort of new mechanic for all characters or exclusive to the bo wielding warrior.

Soulcalibur VI is releasing sometime this year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This is the first big update on the game coming from Bandai Namco since the reveal of the game back in The Game Awards last year.
