Code Vein Scheduled For A September 2018 Release
/Bandai Namco has finally given their anime souls-like action RPG Code Vein a release date. It will be available on September 28, 2018, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
A new trailer hit as well and it focuses on the game's story. It's set in a post-apocalyptic dystopia where humans gained abilities. These abilities, even the armor designs, and color tones look inspired by that of vampires. The combat is also heavily inspired by From Software's Dark Souls series.
Code Vein will have a collector's edition which includes the base game on PS4 and Xbox One and an exclusive figurine of Mia Karnstein, one of the main protagonists of the game. The collector's edition also includes a copy of the game's soundtrack, a digital artbook, and an in-game customization set called Insatiable Bloodthirst.
Those who pre-order will score in-game crossover weapons from Bandai Namco's series God Eater. You also get access to the special blood veil called Venous Claw, communication stamps for the game's multiplayer, a unique look for your character, and Harbringer, a blood code which gives the player special characteristics.
Code Vein will have a multiplayer feature, which allows a player to send help to other players if you need help in a certain area in the game.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
