Dead Or Alive 6 Announced By Koei Tecmo
/ TMG EditorsKoei Tecmo went ahead and revealed the latest installment in the Dead or Alive fighting game series - Dead or Alive 6. It's coming out on PS4, Xbox One , and PC.
IGN was the first to break the news and Dead or Alive 6 seems to have a new engine under its hood. Based on the trailer above, the graphics look to have improved. The gameplay somehow looks similar to previous titles.
Dead or Alive 6 will have a new combo system called Fatal Rush, and a new special system called Break Gauge. These are included to make the game more accessible to new players, while retaining the core gameplay mechanics the series is known for.
Kasumi, Hayate, Hayabusa, Helena, Jann Lee, and Zack all confirmed to return. Based on the official website, more information will be given during E3, more specifically on June 11.
Capcom also revealed that Devil May Cry 5 will feature three playable characters. It’s anyone’s guess as to who those might be, but safe bets are on Dante and Vergil.
