Assassin's Creed Odyssey Confirmed By Ubisoft before E3 2018
/Rumors were starting to build up on a new Assassin's Creed showing up at this year's E3, then Ubisoft confirms its existence with a tweet shown below.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey is real and will be part of Ubisoft's E3 conference. Not much details at this point aside from the title and the small tease of a Spartan kicking another off a cliff.
The leak started when French video game site JeuxVideo-Live posted a promotional item of Assassin's Creed Odyssey, which was unannounced at the time.
Based on the teaser tweet and the helmet in the leaked keychain, it's safe to say that Odyssey will be set in Ancient Greece.
We will definitely know more on June 11, during Ubisoft's E3 conference, which is filled with a variety of upcoming titles such as Beyond Good and Evil 2, The Division 2, Skull and bones, and whatever secrets they have left for the show.
XDefiant, developed by the Ubisoft San Francisco team, is officially shutting down as the free-to-play FPS will only have its servers open until June 2025. It was also reported that two Ubisoft studios are shutting down, effectively laying off up to 177 employees, with the rest being moved to other projects.
