These Borderlands 2 SHiFT Codes Still Work In 2019

UPDATE 2019-05-16: We’ve combed the digi-webs for even more SHiFT Codes and we’ve got a bunch of new ones We’ve also added some of the classic codes from way back such as cosmetics from Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep and the Luck of the Zafords and Loverpalooza event. We’ve also removed obsolete keys just to avoid any confusion.

Original Story: When Borderlands 2 was released all the way back in ye ole 2012, it had a pretty novel idea to keep players engaged: SHiFT Codes. Found on various social media accounts for Gearbox and forums for Borderlands, they can be entered into the game to unlock rare weapons, unique cosmetics and golden keys used to open a special crate that delivered purple rarity guns and gear.

For a shooter so reliant on the power of your loot – this is before Destiny but after Diablo – the SHiFT codes were an exciting commodity to chase. And while the fervor has cooled somewhat for Borderlands, Gearbox continues to dish out SHiFT Codes. This is absurd! It’s akin to publishers giving out free microtransactions for followers on Twitter.

Whether you’re a newcomer to Borderlands or a returning player, why not take advantage and load up on some SHiFT codes! While many in the past have expired some continue to remain usable till now! Here’re some SHiFT Codes you can use on Borderlands 2 in the year of our Lord 2019.
