Bandai Namco Announced Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero
/Bandai Namco announced a new Dragon Ball game called Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, a new entry in the beloved Budokai Tenkaichi series, which aims to retain the traditional action elements the series is known for.
This entry is being developed by Spike Chunsoft, who is behind the original Budokai Tenkaichi series and is being developed in Unreal Engine 5.
The Budokai Tenkaichi series is played in a 3D plane where players can fly around, lock on to enemies, and pretty much do as much destruction in the big open area.
Dragon ball: Sparking! Zero has no set release date or window but will be available through PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Bandai considers this as “a direct evolution from the previous game in the series: Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! Meteor!”, which is simply Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, which was released way back in 2007.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
