Cities Skylines 2 Announced, Arriving Sometime in 2023
/Paradox Interactive and developer Colossal Order announced Cities Skylines 2, a sequel to the ever-popular city-building simulator. It’s set to launch sometime in 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.
No actual footage of the game was shown alongside the reveal trailer you see above, but according to the game’s Steam page, this will be a sequel that will be designed to evolve and react to a player’s choices when building their city, giving the players the ability to create “without restrictions”.
Cities Skylines has become the go-to title if you’re itching for a city builder simulator since it was released back in 2015 on PC. since then, it eventually found itself ported to the PC platforms, which actually works rather well when playing with a controller. The game reached over 25 million players, with 5 million coming from 2022 alone.
All we got was the sequel is expected to hit sometime in 2023. Cities Skylines was announced during Paradox Interactives Announcement Show which you can watch here.
This will be music to the ears of kids who grew up on the series, but for the uninitiated, there’s nothing quite like the Mario & Luigi games. Mario & Luigi Brothership does its best to appeal to a wide range of players with charming presentation and a strong new Battle Plug system, but not everyone will be enamored with its reflex-testing gameplay.
