Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets Perks for December 7 - December 13 2022
/Here’s another Shrine of Secrets reset! This section found in the in-game store of Dead by Daylight gives players the chance to unlock perks from Survivors or Killers still unavailable for them or have not yet earned the highest tier. This week offers the perks Boil Over, Solidarity, Coup de Grace, and Mad Grit. Here’s a quick rundown as you have from December 7, 2022 until December 13 to consider if it’s worth your precious shards.
Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets perks for December 7 to December 13, 2022
To unlock a perk through the Shine of Secrets, you’ll need to spend Iridescent Shards per perk. Tier 1 perks can cost 2,000 shards.
This is a fun choice for those that prefer Killer, especially those that love to make builds that apply the exposed status.
Here’s what the offers do.
Killer Perks
Coup de Grâce - Each time a Generator is fixed, you get 1 token of Coup de Grâce. When performing a lunge attack with a token stored, the distance of your attack is increased by 70/75/80%.
Mad Grit - While carrying a Survivor, you suffer no cooldown or missed attacks. Hitting a Survivor while carrying another will pause the wiggle progression of the carried Survivor by 2/3/4 seconds.
Survivor Perks
Boil Over - While being carried by the Killer, wiggling is faster by 60/70/80%. The perk also obscures the auras of all hooks and the wiggle meter is instantly filled by 33% if the killer drops from great heights.
Solidarity - When injured, healing another Survivor without a med-kit also heals you with a conversion rate of 40/45/50%.
Which perks are worth getting this week?
This week’s an interesting bunch as each side has at least one perk that affects wiggle progression.
Coup de Grâce is the most valuable of the bunch as a longer lunge attack can really catch Survivors off guard and clutch a few kills. It’s one of those perks that becomes more valuable the longer the match plays out so it’s mostly seen being paired with other perks meant for end game like Fire Up or Blood Warden.
The other Killer perk, Mad Grit, is just a fun perk that can find value if paired with other perks like Starstruck. I consider this one a fun perk more than anything.
As for Survivors, Boil Over is a fun perk to have around in a Trial as you could pull wiggling off being carried by a Killer, lessening the pressure to your team. This perk earns more value if you intentionally go down in a spot where a Killer might drop for that bonus wiggle.
Lastly we have Solidarity, which can be useful as fully healing an injured Survivor will make you healed by half, cutting a lot of time for at least two survivors resetting their health states.
Dead by Daylight’s Shrine of Secrets reset every Wednesday at 12 AM UTC / 8 AM GMT +8.
Chapter 26 of Dead by Daylight is now LIVE. The Knight, the new survivor perks, and the map The Shattered Square should be up for all players.
