Dead by Daylight’s next Shrine of Secrets reset for 2023 offers the perks Lucky Break, Poised, Fire Up, and Hoarder. Here’s a quick detailed rundown of each of the perks offered from January 11 - January 17, 2023.

Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets perks for January 11 - January 17, 2023

This section found in the in-game store of Dead by Daylight gives players the chance to unlock perks from Survivors or Killers still unavailable for them, or have not yet earned the highest tier.

To unlock a perk through the Shine of Secrets, you’ll need to spend Iridescent Shards per perk. Tier 1 perks can cost 2,000 shards.

Here’s the description of each perk.

Killer Perks

Fire Up (The Nightmare) - Each time a Generator is repaired, the perk earns one token. Each token gives the Killer a stackable 3/3.5/4% action speed increase to picking up and dropping Survivors, breaking Pallets, Breaking Walls, damaging Generators, and vaulting windows, up to a maximum of 15/17.5/20%.

Hoarder (The Twins) - Hoarder triggers a loud noise notification for 4 seconds when a Survivor unlocks a chest or picks up an item 32/48/64 meters away.

Hoarder adds 2 additional chests in the match.

Survivor Perks

Lucky Break (Yui Kimura) - Whenever you are in an injured state, Lucky Break suppresses your pools of blood and scratch marks for a maximum of 40/50/60 seconds.

Each second spent healing another Survivor will recharges the perk up to it’s maximum duration, Lucky Break also deactivates when you are healed.

Poised (Jane Romero) - After a Generator is fixed, you leave no scratch marks for the next 6/8/10 seconds.

Which perks are worth getting this week?

A much better offering this time around as Killers will have a kick of perks like Hoarder and Fire Up.

Fire Up is probably the best perk to consider this week for Killers as it’s a must-have if you hope to compose an endgame build. Pair this up with Blood Warden and No Way Out and you’ll find a lot of value with Fire Up at max.

We then have Hoarder, which pairs nicely with the Franklin's Demise. Killers like Cenobite will appreciate perks like these.

As for Survivors, you can’t go wrong with Lucky Break. There a lot of good synergy with other perks with this one to give you a bigger chance of the Killer losing your tracks. It’s recent buff doesn’t make it a one time deal as you can recharge it for future use by healing your teammates.

Poised is the least appealing of the bunch as I find Lightweight a much better perk if you’re worried about covering your tracks.
