Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets Perks for November 23 - November 29 2022
/It’s new chapter day! The Knight is now patrolling the Trials and was released alongside this week’s Shrine of Secrets, which is an in-game store that gives players the chance to unlock perks from Survivors or Killers still unavailable for them or have not yet earned the highest tier. This week offers the perks Breakdown, Fire Up, For the People, and Predator. Here’s a quick rundown as you have from November 23, 2022 until November 29 to consider if it’s worth your precious shards.
Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets perks for November 23 to November 29, 2022
To unlock a perk through the Shine of Secrets, you’ll need to spend Iridescent Shards per perk. Tier 1 perks can cost 2,000 shards but higher tiers can cost higher.
It’s an okay offering this week despite having something like Predator on offer.
Here’s what the offers do.
Killer Perks
Fire Up - Each time a generator is completed, Fire Up grows in power. You gain a stack-able 3/3.5/4% action speed bonus to actions such as picking up and dropping Survivors, breaking pallets and breakable walls, damage generators, and vaulting windows. The bonus can reach at a maximum of 15/17.5/20%.
Predator - Scratch marks left by Survivors spawn slightly/moderately/considerably closer together.
Survivor Perks
For the People - While healthy and healing another Survivor without using a Med-Kit, press the Active Ability button to activate the perk. Doing so will trade 1 of your Health State with another Survivor that’s either on the Dying State or the Injured State. Doing this action will make you Broken for the next 80/70/60 seconds.
Breakdown - Each time you are unhooked or unhook yourself, the hook breaks and the Killer’s Aura is revealed to you for 4/5/6 seconds. A hook broken by the Breakdown perk will take 180 seconds to respawn.
Which perks are worth getting this week?
Let’s get this out of the way, don’t get Predator. It simply makes scratch marks left by survivors easier to see. I don’t recommend this one bit as it would be best to get used to how Scratch Mark look like without the perk. Of course, unless you physically have a hard time seeing them. Another reason to not get it is it’s available to all players if you play Wraith, one of the base killers in Dead by Daylight.
I do suggest Fire Up though, a killer perk that simply gets better if Survivors are doing well at fixing generators. A great tool if you like preparing for the end-game collapse, especially if you pair it with perks that all all about the last moments of the Trial.
For Survivor, both For the People and Breakdown can be fun to play around with. When For the People is ready for use, it can be a quick way to pick someone up on the floor when being chased. Breakdown can be situational though you might be able to isolate a key hook if done correctly.
Dead by Daylight’s Shrine of Secrets reset every Wednesday at 12 AM UTC / 8 AM GMT +8.
Chapter 26 of Dead by Daylight is now LIVE. The Knight, the new survivor perks, and the map The Shattered Square should be up for all players.
