Destiny 2 - Season of the Deep Week 3 (June 7 - June 13)
New and final Deep Dive Mission
This week the story progresses in a snail-pace as we go on another Deep Dive to help Sloane strengthen her connection with Ahsa to better understand her thoughts. This mission lets you go through the usual Deep Dive content but with a twist in the end as you get to fight the Taken boss Kelgorath, Taken from Bones. This is the third and final boss you can encounter in this activity.
This also allows players to complete the Deep Sea Locksmith challenge as this seasonal challenge requires you to defeat all three Deep Dive mission bosses at least once. Completing this challenge will give players a chance to redeem a Deep Dive Key once you redeem a Salvage Key.
Crucible Rank points doubled this week
In case you are feeling a bit behind with your Crucible rank this season now would be a good time to spend time with PvP as Rank points will be doubled this week.
Roots of Nightmares Challenge - Cosmic Equilibrium
The Root of Nightmares raid challenge this week is Cosmic Equilibirum, which is for the planets encounter. To compete the challenge, the team will have to move all Light planets to the right side of the room while the Dark planets must be positioned on the left side of the room.
It’s rather tough but worth the effort as the extra chest for completing the challenge will give score you the Rufus’s Fury (Adept) Auto Rifle, which is arguably one of the most sought out weapon in this raid’s loot pool.
Bright Dust store offering this week
This week’s Bright Dust offering is all about the emotes as there are a lot of great ones to pick from. In the Bright Dust store we have the Power Check emote for you Dragon Ball Z fans, Hacker Time, and another chance to get the Spray and Pray emote. As for the exotic weapon ornament this week we have Alhidade for Crimson.
The featured raid and Dungeon in Week 3
The Deep Stone Crypt raid and the Pit of Heresy are your featured raid and dungeon this week. Deep Stone Crypt is being done more often as this season added craftable version of the weapons dropped in this raid, and with all challenges available this week this will be the perfect time to clear everything you’ve missed in this raid.
Week 3 is pretty light compared to previous weeks, especially with the seasonal story as the new dialogue added this week doesn’t reveal much as it’s just another Deep Dive with Sloane. All we know is she’s getting better at understanding Ahsa’s memories. Not much of a spoiler, so all in all you are not missing much.
Beyond this, Destiny 2 has the usual reset across all other activities such as Dares of Eternity, raid challenges, and Destination activities. A full list can be seen here thanks to the Destiny 2 Reddit community.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
