Diablo 4’s Season 2 Item Trading Temporarily Suspended Due to a Duplication Exploit
/Blizzard has temporarily suspended the ability to trade material items in Season 2 of Diablo 4 due to an exploit currently available in the game.
The suspension of the feature was announced in Diablo 4’s official forums.
“We’ve suspended player trading in Diablo IV until further notice due to a duplication exploit. We are working on a fix to amend this issue and will update you once we’ve reinstated the ability to trade. We will continue to monitor this activity to ensure a healthy playing experience for all.”
“Any account that engages in gold and item duplication exploits will be actioned in accordance with our End User License Agreement.”
“We thank you for reporting this exploit to us and your patience.”
Blizzard didn’t specify the exact exploit that triggered this suspension, but those grinding through Season 2 will know it’s related to the items needed to summon Echo of Duriel, as forum users have pointed out that the items needed to summon the uber boss are currently being duplicated by players, making it much easier to farm the boss and increase their chances at picking the rarest unique items currently in the game.
Normally, players will have to farm other endgame bosses (which also require their materials to summon) to get the items needed to summon Duriel, which is a much longer grind for a better chance at uber unique items.
Diablo 4’s season 2, named Season of Blood, started on October 17 and will be around for the rest of 2023. This season is vampire-themed as seasonal characters can utilize new vampiric powers to their class builds. There is also a new seasonal story where you face off Lord Zir, the big bad for this season.
This will be music to the ears of kids who grew up on the series, but for the uninitiated, there’s nothing quite like the Mario & Luigi games. Mario & Luigi Brothership does its best to appeal to a wide range of players with charming presentation and a strong new Battle Plug system, but not everyone will be enamored with its reflex-testing gameplay.
