DualSense Edge launches in the Philippines This February, Pre-orders Now Live
/Sony’s customizable controller for the PlayStation 5, the DualSense Edge wireless controller, is expected to arrive in the Philippines on February 17 as pre-orders for the premium controller are now available in local stores.
Pre-orders requirements apparently differ depending on the store. In Game One, you’ll need to put down a downpayment of PHP 2,000 for the controller. In Datablitz, the usual PHP 500 fee to secure a pre-order is all you need.
As for the full price, local stores in the Philippines only provide an estimate before a product’s release as Datablitz states that the estimated price is around PHP 12,400.00. Game One’s website prices it at PHP 12,490.
This is PlayStation’s most highly customizable wireless controller and its biggest feature is the fact that you can replace the actual modules of the left and right sticks with new ones. A useful feature as this allows you to solve any stick issues like drifting by simply replacing the stick giving you problems.
The controller also features back buttons in case you need more buttons for your game, adjustable trigger stops and dead zones, and more.
The package of the DualSense Edge is pretty neat as it comes with its own case and extra pieces to get you started. Sadly, the package doesn’t contain extra stick modules, so you’ll have to buy them separately in the future.
Here’s the complete package when purchasing a DualSense Edge.

USB braided cable
2 Standard caps
2 High dome caps
2 Low dome caps
2 Half dome back buttons
2 Lever back buttons

The DualSense Edge launched on January 26 in the US, Japan, and other select countries and was priced at $200 when it launched a few weeks ago.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
