Evo 2024, Another Amazing Weekend of Fighting Games and Announcements
/Evolution 2024, the biggest open fighting game event to ever be organized has once again concluded its 2024 edition last weekend as it was a weekend filled with ups and downs, excitements, upsets, and success stories only the fighting game community can produce.
There are so many great moments that are hard to point out. The unexpected split from a 40+-year-old Street Fighter 3rd Strike player is one of those moments you wished you were there to see it unfold.
We even greats like SonicFox still being on top of the Mortal Kombat world to PunkDaGod finally getting his first ever Street Fighter Evo win. For Punk, it was probably the hardest way to win as a bracket reset happened and it went down to the final round to the point that it was simply a coin flip as both players in the grand finals was even and deserved the top podium.
