Genshin Impact Version 3.3 Revealed, Adds a Trading Card Game and More
/MiHoyo announced what to expect from Genshin Impact’s version 3.3 update which goes live on December 7. Two new characters will be added to the game as well as various events and challenges, a trading card game, and a new story quest.
Genshin Impact’s 3.3 will allow players to pull from the new banner for the 5-star Catalyst user named Wandered, who is the main focus of the new Archon quest. We then have a 4-star bow user named Faruzan.
As for events, more challenges are added to the game and one of them is called Akitsu Kimodameshi, which is a mini-game that tasks players to bounce a ball using a bar to bounce it back to break bricks with the appropriate color.
We then have a new Misty Dungeon called Realm of Sands, a traversal activity called Across the Wilderness where you collect balloons within the given time, and the Windtrance event, which feels like MiHoyo’s take on prop hunt as one side hides in plain sight by becoming an object while the other finds them.
Lastly, Update 3.3 adds a trading card game mini-game called Genius Invocation, a first for the free-to-play action RPG.
Two new artifacts will also be added to the game – the Flower of Paradise sets and the Desert Pavilion Chronicle set. A 5-star Catalyst weapon called Tulaytullah’s Remembrance, and a 4-star Sword called the Toukabou Shigure will be obtainable when update 3.3 goes live.
This will be music to the ears of kids who grew up on the series, but for the uninitiated, there’s nothing quite like the Mario & Luigi games. Mario & Luigi Brothership does its best to appeal to a wide range of players with charming presentation and a strong new Battle Plug system, but not everyone will be enamored with its reflex-testing gameplay.
