God of War Ragnarök Launches This November for PS4 and PS5

Santa Monica Studio and Sony have announced that God of War Ragnarök is set to launch on November 9, 2022 on the PS4 and PS5. 

After many rumors of possible delays, it’s now confirmed that players will get to experience the next adventure of Kratos and a now older Atreus. In celebration of the game’s release date, a short but sweet Cinematic trailer was released and can be watched below. 

Those who pick up the PS4 version of God of War Ragnarök will need to pay an extra $10 to upgrade and get the PS5 version of the game. Those who pre-order the game will get in-game items like the Kratos Risen Snow Armor, and the Atreus Risen Snow Tunic cosmetics.

Aside from the standard edition, God of War Ragnarök will also have a Digital Deluxe Edition, a Collector’s Edition, and a Jötnar Edition. Here’s what’s inside each edition.

God of War Ragnarök – Digital Deluxe Edition

  • A Steelbook Display Case (no game disc included) – The God of War Ragnarok Steelbook Display Case depicts renditions of the Bear and the Wolf.

  • Two-inches Vanir Twins Carvings – In the same style as Atreus’ wooden toy carvings of the Huldra Brothers from the God of War (2018) Collector’s Edition, the God of War Ragnarok Collector’s Edition completes the set with carvings of the Vanir Twins.
