Marvel Snap’s June 2023 Season Is Spider-Versus
/Developer Second Dinner has revealed the June 2023 season of Marvel Snap and it’s called Spider-Versus, which aligns with the release of the new animated film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse which is available now in cinemas. The new season will go live on June 5 and will feature the seasonal card Ghost-Spider, a couple of new Spidey variants as well as three new Series 4 cards, and two new locations that will slowly be released throughout June.
Spider-Versus Seasonal Card - Ghost-Spider
The June 2023 seasonal card is Ghost-Spider, also known as Spider-Gwen. She’s a 2-cost, 3 Power card with an On Reveal ability that reads: The last card you played moves here.
New cards releasing throughout June 2023
This next season Season Dinner will be adding three new cards throughout June with one entering the Series 5 pool of cards while the other two join the Series 4.
The new Series 5 card will be Silk, a 2-cost, 5-power card that moves to another location when another card is played at that same location.
For the new Series 4 cards, we have Spider-Man 2099, which is a 4-cost, 6-power card with the ability that reads: The first time this moves to a location, destroy an enemy card there.
The last new Series 4 card Spider-Ham, a 1-cost, 1-power card that has an On Reveal ability that reads: Transform the highest-cost card in your opponent’s hand into a Pig, keeping its Power and Cost.
New Locations to be added during the Spider-Versus Season
For the new locations, we are getting Aunt May’s, a move location that reads: The first card you play her gets +3 Power and moves. The second location is Great Web, another move-themed location where after each turn, one card will be moved to this location for a random player.
New Conquest Game Mode coming to Marvel Snap this season
Lastly, Second Dinner will be adding a new game mode called Conquest, a game mode that allows players to go through a gauntlet against other players for big rewards. Players start in the Proving Grounds Conquest, which requires you to win one game. Once you do that you are given the ticket to join the Silver Conquest, which requires you to win two in a row. Do that and you’ll be given a ticket to the Gold Conquest, which will then require you to win 3 in a row. If you do happen to do that as well, you receive a ticket to the Infinity Conquest, which r requires you to win five in a row!
Once you lose it’s over and you’ll be given a reward based on how far you’ve reached. It’s tough as it’s all about getting that win streak going. The biggest prize is reaching the Infinity Conquest where the Avatar you used for your Conquest run will be upgraded with an Infinity border effect.
Each Conquest mode run will reward you with a new currency called medals, which can then be spent on the new Conquest shop. To enter a Conquest run, you’ll either need to spend tickets or Gold.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is now my favorite title from the Persona team by far. It’s one of those rare games where its main pillars work harmoniously, and you get lost in its charm. It’s a pristine JRPG, with enough style and substance to satisfy hardcore JRPG fans, Persona fans, and even those who rarely touch JRPGs.
