Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Test 2 Announced by Capcom
/Capcom starts 2025 with the announcement of Monster Hunter Wilds' second beta test, which will go live at set times during two separate weekends this February.

The Open Beta Test 2 will go live on February 6, 7 PM PT, until February 9, 6:59 PM. It will then go live again a week after on February 13, 7 PM, until February 16, 6:59 PM.
This time around, players planning to try out the Monster Hunter Wilds second Open Beta Test will get to hunt the Gypceros, a returning monster from the series that has the ability to blind Hunters and monsters nearby.
The second open beta test will also feature the same content found in the first beta — the game’s character creation, the beginning segment of the game’s story campaign, Participate in the uest to slay the Doshaguma, or roam the open world and fight whatever is available in the beta. Complete with all 12 wieldable weapons to try out.
Just like the first one, your progress in the Open Beta Test 2 will not carry over to the full game, but you can transfer your character creation data so that how you’ll look in the full game is all set.
The second open beta test will feature crossplay enabled across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
This is likely your last chance to try out the Monster Hunter Wilds before release as it’s set to launch on February 28, 2025.
