New Elden Ring trailer explains all you need to know before release

It’s release week for From Software’s Elden Ring, one of the highly anticipated titles of 2022, releasing at the end of a pack february. In the hopes to get more people up to speed, a new lengthy trailer of the action RPG was released and covers all you need to know before launch.
The trailer above is pretty detailed, covering the narrative and covering the key features of the game. George R.R Martin, the creator of Game of Thrones, assisted in creating the foundations of the game’s world while the developers filled in the gaps to make it align to what type of game they were creating. It's an open world game, but at its core it’s a Dark Souls game and is considered to be the biggest game (via GameRant) the studio From Software has ever created.
Crafting, open spaces, mounts, even the idea of jumping is completely new to a Dark Souls veteran though everything else seems familiar. Elden Ring was announced back in 2019 and had a long pause of no details about the game until Game Fest 2021, which revealed the game’s first ever gameplay trailer, giving the world a good first look at what Elden Ring is all about.
Elden Ring is set to release this Friday, February 25, 2022 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
