New Tales from the Borderlands game announced during Gamescom Opening Night 2022.

Gearbox Software have revealed during Gamescom Opening Night 2022 the New Tales From the Borderlands, another narrative adventure set in the Borderlands universe with a new cast of characters. The game releases on October 21, 2022 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC..


New Tales from the Borderlands will play similar to Telltale’s Tales of the Borderlands which came out back in 2014, only this time this new game is being developed by Gearbox Software themselves. 

The story will revolve around characters Anu, her brother Octavio, and Fran, which are not the usual Vault Hunter kind of people you’d expect from a crazy game like this. 

New Tales from the Borderlands will be priced at $39.99 and will also have a $49.99 deluxe edition that comes with the original Tales from the Borderlands game. 

More games were announced during Gamescome Opening Night such as the sequel The Lords of the Fallen and an MMO survival Dune: Awakening.
