PlayStation Plus 2021 October games reportedly leaked

UPDATE(9/30/22): PlayStation revealed and confirm that the PS Plus free games for October will be Hell Let Loose (PS5), Mortal Kombat X (PS4) and PGA Tour 2K21 (PS4) on October 5. Asia regions are apparently getting an extra free game as Castlevania Requiem (PS4) will also be offered next month.
It looks like the PS Plus free games for October 2021 have been leaked by the same source that correctly leaked September’s lineup. If it comes out true, subscribers will get Hell Let Loose (PS5), Mortal Kombat X (PS4) and PGA Tour 2K21 (PS4) on October 5.
The leak was from a community site called Dealabs with user bilibil-kun posting that October’s free games offering will feature the console version of recently released online FPS Hell Let Loose for PS5 players, 2015’s Mortal Kombat X, and PGA Tour 2K21 which can out last year.
As of this writing, it’s still considered a rumor as nothing officially has been announced by Sony, but this leak has merit as it’s the same site and user that also leaked September’s PS Plus and it turned out to be true.
Hell Let Loose has yet to be released on consoles and is releasing on October 5. Rather convenient as the first week of the month is usually when the next lineup goes live for subscribers to claim the free games. It’s also unusual to find out pre-orders for Hell Let Loose is still only available for Xbox Series X|S and not for the PS5, even though it’s visibly seen in the PlayStation Store with no option to pre order, a week before release.
For PS4 owners, Mortal Kombat X isn’t the latest entry for the fighting game series but is an entertaining title in it’s own right. It also has its own list of crossover DLCs as you can pick up Alien’s Xenomorph or even Jason Vorhees to expand it’s roster.
The second PS4 free game is PGA Tour 2K21, yet another sports game but a solid pick up for golf fans as it’s currently the latest title for the series.
If you haven’t picked up September's lineup of free games, you still have time as the offer will last until October 4, 2021. It currently offers Predator: Hunting Grounds (PS4), Hitman 2 (PS4), and Overcooked: All You Can Eat (PS5), which features both Overcooked games and all other content that was released for the game.
