PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Adding Dead by Daylight, Bugsnax, and More This August

Sony announced the games coming to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog this August 2022. PS Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe subscribers will have access to games such as Dead by Daylight, Bugsnax,Metro Exodux, Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 on August 16.

Here’s the full list of games announced to be added to the Game Catalog on August 16.

  • Bugsnax

A few weeks ago, Sony announced that the entire Yakuza series is coming to PlayStation Plus and they are starting with the first three games hitting the service next week. For the rest of the series, Yakuza 3 Remastered, Yakuza 4 Remastered, Yakuza 5 Remastered, and Yakuza 6: Song of Life will be available within the year. The latest title in the series, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, is now available to all PlayStation Plus subscribers as one of the Monthly Games available for the month of August 2022. 

Sony’s new PlayStation Plus service is expected to be updated halfway through each month. Though the games mentioned above are for Extra and Premium/Deluxe subscribers, no update was mentioned for the Classic Catalog, which consists of titles from previous generations like the PS1 or PS3 era and is only available for Premium/Deluxe subscribers. 

This announcement is perfect timing for those eager to try out Dead by Daylight as developer Behaviour Interactive is preparing to launch the second Resident Evil chapter titled ‘Project W’ as it’s now in the game’s Public Test Build server, meaning release is just a few weeks away.
