Rainbow Six Siege’s Operation Vector Glare Delayed, No New Launch Date Announced

UPDATE (June 10, 2022): Ubisoft has finally confirmed that the new season Operation Vector Glare will go live on June 14.

Ubisoft suddenly delayed the next season Operation Vector Glare for Rainbow Six Siege over the weekend with no new launch date mentioned. This announcement comes just days before its previously planned June 7 release. 

After completing a testing pass, we’ve identified a player experience issue and have decided to postpone the release of Vector Glare in order to address it. We'll share details on the new date as soon as we can. pic.twitter.com/hdGI01z8Zg

The content in Operation Vector Glare hit Rainbow Six Siege’s test servers on May 24, meaning this upcoming season was given a two-week transition to live servers, a week shorter compared to other seasons which had three weeks for testing. Obviously things didn’t go according to plan as the developers noticed “a player experience issue” that resulted in a sudden delay. 

This is uncommon so whatever they need to address is likely major as its been days since the announcement with no new information. We will update this page once Ubisoft announces the new release date for Operation Vector Glare.
